To celebrate 20 years of Angel Heart and 50 years of Hello Kitty, Angel Heart has released a collaborative watch. It costs 16,500 yen ($106) and you can buy it from any store that carries Angel Heart products, as well as from Angel Heart’s online store. [Thanks, PR Times!]
The watch is light pink with Hello Kitty’s head on the watch face. There aren’t any numbers on the face, although there is a crystal at the 12 position. The watch also has an apple-shaped charm attached to it. This is a reference to how Sanrio officially uses apples as a way to measure Hello Kitty’s height and weight. One of Hello Kitty’s favorite foods in the world is also apple pie, which is why the Hello Kitty collaboration flavor March of the Koala tastes like apple pie.
When you buy the watch, you can also get a side pocket that looks like Hello Kitty’s face with some jewelry on it. It’s big enough that you can use it as a bag for short outings as it can fit most wallets and phones. You can pair the two to show the world how much you like Hello Kitty.
