Andy Ruiz creates Wilder battle poster with message teasing fans
Andy Ruiz Jr increased the pressure on Deontay Wilder to face him next with a slick poster design depicting two people fighting.
The Mexican heavyweight is about to have a decisive victory over Luis Ortiz – whom Wilder has stopped in the ring not once but twice. Elsewhere, Wilder just finished his comeback in a round with a viral takedown by Robert Helenius.
On the back of both results, the World Boxing Council has stated that they must fight next if they want to keep their high rankings.
Now the regulator has ordered two PBC-promoted boxers to face each other in a final elimination. for Tyson Fury’s title, there’s really nothing that stands in the way of a truly engaging heavyweight fight. Both former champions are on the rise again, fans will be eager to see how Ruiz’s pace can cope with Wilder’s famed prowess.
Ruiz Jr seems to be feeling confident and his team is calling for a fight every now and then. Along with this new poster on his Twitter account, he added the message ‘It’s coming’ next to the hashtag ‘God First.’

While the heavy hitter from Alabama certainly doesn’t shy away from the fight, he certainly seems to be the less eager of the two – perhaps preferring to talk face-to-face with Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk. Usyk holds all of Fury’s other heavyweight titles aside from WBC, and has expressed an interest in going up against Wilder.
However, with Fury and Usyk aiming for an undisputed duel early next year, it seems like the best option for both of them to secure a hit to the winner and return to heavyweight glory. With both looking forward to a quiet winter before returning to the ring shortly after the turn of this year, we can expect an announcement on the status of the game relatively soon.
