An MP Lost 12 Family Members

BJP member Lok Sabha from Rajkot, Mohan Kundariya, said today that 12 of his relatives were among those killed in the collapse of a suspension bridge in the Gujarat town of Morbi.
The BJP MP said they were visiting the picnic site on Sunday when the tragedy struck.
More than 130 people were killed after a suspension bridge over the Machchhu River collapsed last night, according to police.
Mr. Kundariya said the 12 victims in his family included five children, four women and three men, all of whom were close relatives of his brother. He said strict action would be taken against those responsible for the tragedy.
“Four daughters of my brother’s brother-in-law, husbands of three of them and five children were killed in the accident,” Kundariya said.
They belong to different villages in Tankara taluka and have settled in Morbi, he said.
“Since it was Sunday, they went to the picnic site where the tragedy happened. I went there half an hour after the incident and have been there since yesterday, helping with the rescue work,” the MP said. say more.
“A lot of people have lost their lives. We will take strict action against those responsible for the incident,” he said.
Kundariya said Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was camping in Morbi after the bridge collapse.
He added: “We will make sure that no one is responsible for the loss of so many lives spared.”
