Donald Trump has revealed a new important announcement on his Truth Social page.
In the 15-second clip, the former president tells his supporters that “America needs a superhero” before sharing a caricature of him posing as Superman outside Trump Tower.
The animated footage shows the 76-year-old ripping off his shirt to reveal a superhero costume, six pack abs and laser beams shooting out of his eyes.
Following the clip and cartoon, a sign pops up that says “MAIN NOTICE THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15”.
Last month Mr. Trump announced his intention to run for president again in 2024, but so far there have been no further clues about that teased announcement.
There is speculation about what it could be, with hints that he may be about to reveal his running mate or return to his formerly popular social networking platform Twitter after the account his is restored later by Elon Musk Undertake.
Truth Social was launched last year after Mr. Trump was kicked out of Twitter following the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2020.
