Celebrities, politicians and pop stars from around the world have descended on Mumbai for the wedding of the youngest son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani.

Anant Ambani Married to Radhika Merchantdaughters of Indian pharmaceutical tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant, in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Mumbai on Friday.

The wedding began with parties and celebrations in March, before the family invited more than 800 guests on a trip around Europe.

But Friday saw some of the world’s most familiar faces, as politics, sport and celebrity mixed on the red carpet.

Friday’s ceremony was part of a four-day festival – The last stop in a series of lavish parties the family has been hosting since Marchfeaturing performances by pop stars like Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
