The use of restricted stock units of (ticker: AMZN) for a large portion of employee compensation is causing wages for 2023 to be 15% to 50% lower than forecast for employees. Labor, The Wall Street Journal report, citing people familiar with the matter. According to the WSJ, managers have been asked to advise employees to hold off on restricted stock until the company’s share price recovers.
