It’s Amazon’s turn to hold a big hardware event in the fall, and the company took the opportunity to announce some news about it. Echo Show 15. It will bring the Fire TV experience to smart displays for both new and existing owners of the device as a free update.
The move makes a lot of sense when you consider that more than 70% of the 15 Echo Show users watched a video on the device last month, according to Amazon. The company says users will be able to start streaming live shows, movies and TV with Alexa voice commands, as well as via touch controls. You’ll also have the option to pair the third-generation Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote with the Echo Show 15.
