Amanda Holden, 51, broke down in tears on Saturday night’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent, following an emotional performance from the Armed Forces Children’s Choir.
The choir is made up of children of those who have served or are serving in the armed forces, with an act of homage to their families.
The act shocked the four judges, with Amanda saying she was ‘a mess’ as she wiped tears from her cheeks.

The song, titled Welcome Home, aims to bring together families whose parents have moved out.
In the wake of their actions, a video shows Simon Cowell going to the choir’s church and inviting them to perform in the talent show, shocking the kids.
In addition to the performance, the choir also displays a collection of pictures of members of the armed forces returning to their homeland with their families.

Wiping away tears, Amanda burst into tears after the performance and paying tribute to the children, she said: ‘I’m so messed up, when the pictures of you with your mom and dad come out, that’s when I burst.
‘I just think how strong you all are without them when they are doing something so extraordinary for us.
“You’re really unselfish lending it to us for our own safety – so thank you,” she continued.

Not only was Amanda impressed, as David Walliams called the performance a ‘perfect audition’ and quipped: ‘It made me want to enlist, I’d love for someone to miss me this much.’
While Simon described the audition as ‘something I’ll never forget’, before going on to their fourth acceptance stage.

But it wasn’t just the moving performances that took to the stage on Saturday night, when judges were left on the edge of their seats in a gripping performance by acrobats The Freaks.
The group took their action to the next level with a series of daring stunts, including using some members as ropes to jump over humans.

While another girl was launched into the air before being released again, leaving Amanda and Alesha Dixon shivering in their seats.
The group featured two women covering their eyes in fear as they whispered, “Imagine it’s your daughter.”
But after successfully pulling it out of the bag, they received a standing ovation as David called it ‘one of the most extraordinary things we’ve seen in the UK with talent’.

Oh no! A trick – in which they made a human ladder and threw a girl to the top of it – was a step too far for the judges, with a habit of making them tremble with fear.

Then a spooky act takes things to the next level when they smash an apple full of cockroaches into Amanda’s hand – prompting her and Alesha to scream and run away from the console.
The Witch’s actions led each of the judges to choose an apple and bite into it, before breaking the last apple for Amanda and releasing the insects across the board.
