In terms of design, the A110 R cannot be confused with anything less than the most focused variant. Featuring the same matte blue paintwork as the firm’s Formula 1 car, the R features a new vented bonnet, front splitter and side skirts, all made from carbon fiber and designed to improve downforce. pressing and air efficiency. At the rear, the diffuser has been reworked and there’s a new rear wing with a swan’s neck mount.

Despite the new aero components, the A110 R is also 34kg lighter than the S model. This is thanks to the heavy use of carbon fiber, extending to the roof, engine cover and fixed bucket seats at the back. To reduce unpacked weight, Alpine has also equipped a set of 18-inch carbon fiber wheels that save a total of 12.5kg and improve brake cooling.

The Brembo brake system also has a new cooling setting for more enduring stopping power.

Inside, the A110 R gets unique microfiber leather upholstery on the seats, dashboard, door panels and steering wheel, along with red fabric door pulls. The carbon fiber seats are fitted with a six-point harness for extra support on the track, and an on-board telemetry system allows the driver to monitor mechanical data and lap times throughout a session.
