Aloo Bhujia Omelette: How you can make an ordinary omelette unique

While this classic requires only eggs, butter or oil and a few simple spices, its versatility is what leaves us craving. But if you’re looking for something a little further, check out this recipe by celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor. He used aloo bhujia to make this omelette.

How to make Aloo Bhujia Omelette – Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s recipe:

Element:

  • Aloo bhujia sev
  • Egg
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • Garlic Ginger
  • Green chili (finely chopped)
  • Onion (finely chopped)
  • Tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • Red chili powder
  • Dill powder
  • Red chili powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. First, crack two eggs in a bowl, whisk, add salt and set aside.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan and add some ginger garlic. Add chopped green peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
  3. Add spices like red chili powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Add a generous amount of aloo bhujia and mix well. Finally, mix some coriander leaves and cook the mixture for a few minutes.
  4. Pour in the beaten eggs and spread evenly to prepare the omelette. Cook it for a few minutes. Flip the omelette and bake the other side.
  5. Serve the omelette with ketchup and toast on the side.
