All of last night’s Nintendo Direct games are coming to PC too

As a PC player, watching Nintendo Directs can be a daunting task. Everything simply has the Switch logo, so how do you know what will get you excited? We hear your (very important) woes, so we’ve rounded up every PC game featured in last night’s live. There’s a lot of fun coming to PC including paranormal detective, classic flashback game, a new game from Don’t Nod, etc. So let’s get started.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Reawakens

Another Nintendo DS title has arrived on PC, this time the Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Reawakens puzzle game. Ghost Trick is a supernatural detective thriller film directed by Ace Attorney, Shu Takumi. The PC release will feature remastered visuals, new music, and an updated user interface – I guess tapping my screen with a DS stylus isn’t feasible. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Reawakens launching on PC this summer.

Harmony: Reverie’s Fall

Don’t Nod – the studio behind Life Is Strange – is back with Harmony: Reverie’s Fall, and this time they’ll bring their choice-based melodrama to a futuristic city in the Mediterranean. The game is split into two perspectives: Polly in the real world and nominal Harmony, a goddess with access to another. The game’s lighthearted 2D art is beautiful, and Celeste’s composer Lena Raine is bringing her space tunes to the soundtrack, generally good vibes. Harmony: The Fall Of Reverie will be out sometime in June on Steam.

TRON: Identity

TRON: Identity is a visual novel puzzle game by developer Thomas Was Alone, Bithell Games. Identity is slightly separate from the rest of the Tron series, as we are now in a new, unstable Grid. This time around, there’s also an aspect of mystery as we follow the Detective Program Query and make choices that could affect the rest of the game. TRON: Identity is coming Steam sometimes in April.

We love Katamari Katamari ReRoll + Royal Reverie

This beloved junk sim from 2005 is being completely remade with new content. This remaster includes five new challenges that take players back in time to experience the childhood of King Of All Cosmos. I like a good prequel. You can also take selfies while moving in the new photo mode. We love Katamari ReRolls to PC on June 2nd.

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania

Dead cells’ The tie-up to the classic Castlevania series was previously revealed at last year’s Game Awards. But now we have a solid look at the gameplay and a date. Return To Castlevania looks like a surprisingly detailed homage to the side-scrolling series. We get a good look at returning characters like Alucard, the boss fighting Death, and Dracula himself, and glimpse magical abilities from the series. Dead Cells: Return To Castlevania releases March 6 on Steam.

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection

This dungeon exploration RPG series was previously only available to Nintendo handhelds, but now all three games are coming to PC via Steam on June 1. Etrian Odyssey 1, 2 and 3 are getting the HD treatment with updated graphics, a remastered soundtrack, and other quality of life updates. You can buy Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection as a bundle or you can purchase the games individually on Steam.

PARANOMASIGHT: Seven Mysteries of Honjo

Ah, I can hear you, “This isn’t in the Nintendo Direct!” Yes, but only if you watch the Japanese version of the show. Square Enix’s Paranormasight is a visual novel horror game where you investigate the ‘Seven Mysteries of Honjo’, aka a series of urban legends about a spooky world that I really don’t want to mess with. Paranormasight: Seven Mysteries of Honjo is coming to haunt the PC and Steam on March 9th.

star sea

From the gorgeous pixel art style, to the warm blocky device menus, star sea sure to make you feel nostalgic for classic JRPGs from the 90s – even if, like me, you don’t live in that era anymore. This comes from The Messenger developers, so the team has experience with retro rad rollback bugs. Better yet, the game features guest soundtracks by Yasunori Mitsuda, the legendary composer behind Chrono Trigger. Sea Of Stars released for Steam August 29.

It’s a PC release from Nintendo Direct. What catches your eye?
