All Dragon Quest games will be available on modern platforms
It’s time for Square Enix to deliver Dragon quest the The ultimate illusion handling – at least in terms of game preservation. One of the best parts of The ultimate illusion series is how you can play almost any game on all modern platforms today. In the same vein, we need it all Dragon quest Gameplay on all systems is good.
At this point, if you boot up your Nintendo Switch and search Dragon quest games to play, you will find I–III, X (if you have a Japanese account) and XI. Sadly, that’s the best-case scenario for modern consoles and PCs. In terms of mainline games, most other platforms only have them Dragon Quest XI available now.
A word of warning Dragon quest Game preservation is how mobile devices get access to most of the games in the series, but not all of them. In English you can find the first six games plus extraordinary games Dragon Quest VIII. However, the seventh entry is only available in Japanese, while the ninth game on the Nintendo DS is sadly not available anywhere in the modern era. It’s a pretty messy situation, especially if you’re a console or PC gamer. This is no longer the case for The ultimate illusion with any older games being blocked XI And XIII available on most systems today. (But then, FFXI still actively running on PC.) With Square Enix freed from Pixel Remaster series of titles, now seems like the perfect time to give away Dragon quest same treatment.
Now we know about Dragon Quest III redo in HD-2D’s style octopus tourists. However, this remake is for an already existing game. Not every game in the series needs a remake, especially the later ones. A series of games similar to Pixel Remaster IV–BECAUSE will work and is a fairly easy task for Square Enix to complete. Then there’s the existing 3DS ports of Dragon Quest VII And VIII, which is already great. They may have some minor changes beyond higher resolution and single screen for modern systems.
Perhaps the biggest problem of them all Dragon Quest IX. This unique and beloved title has been stuck on the DS since its initial release. It will need quite a few changes due to the dual screen system, cluttered user interface, and graphics to run on the new platform. Most likely, genuine products are required Dragon Quest IX some kind of remake. It would be great to see one in HD-2D form like its predecessor. Maybe that can happen later.
From there, the only problem left is notoriety Dragon Quest X MMO situation. Well, at least for fans outside of Japan. Fortunately, Dragon Quest X Offline currently exists as a purely single-player version in Japanese. If Square Enix localizes this for all modern platforms it could complete the library.
In an ideal world, Square Enix would take action to make it happen Dragon quest much more accessible games and preserve them for years to come. Most of these feel that they can just get fairly easy solutions to attract more people, which will also be more profitable for the publisher. So, here’s hoping we get it all Dragon quest The game will be available soon on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
