During the Summer Game Festival last June, Alien fans were treated to a treat disclosure of a new game called Aliens: Dark Descent. This real-time tactical shooter pits a squad of marines against dozens of deadly xenomorphs, though we haven’t seen any gameplay footage until the release of a new video today.
A gameplay commentary video that walks the player through the basics, in which the player leads a team of marines investigating a xenomorph outbreak on Moon. You will command teammates to attack or perform skills and also slow down time in gunfights to choose commands. However, your teammates may die forever, but you can improve your survival rate by equipping your soldiers with a variety of weapons and upgrades to ensure the best team composition.
Aliens: Dark Descent is being developed by Tindalos Interactive, the makers of the Battlefleet Gothic: Armada series, and will be published by Focus Entertainment. It Coming June 20 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
