Captioned “A new adventure is about to begin ❤️🍼”, the couple waited until the last moments of the clip to reveal an ultrasound image of their upcoming fun! It’s totally cute and even sweeter with by Mariah Carey “Always Be My Baby” is playing in the background.
Of course, the proud father Al commented, and even offered a hint as to how he would like his new grandchild to be called. “Let’s get started!!! So very very happy!!!!! Guys,” Al wrote, adding, “Come to ‘Pop-Pop’.” His wife, and Courtney’s stepmother, Deborah Roberts, adding, “” This is so much fun!!! 😍😍” Al also shared his daughter Leila24 years old and son Nicholas20, with Deborah.
Courtney and Wesley, who knot in June 2021 at The Ashford Estate in Allentown, New Jersey, also spoke before her father’s performance. “We are extremely excited to welcome a new member into the family and begin the next chapter in our lives,” she said. Today.com. “We feel really lucky and excited for our little miracle.”
Great news for Al, as he’s had a rough year. In November 2022, Al was rush to the hospital for blood clots in his legs and lungs. He was released a few weeks later, but was returned to the care of the doctors on Thanksgiving, causing Al to miss the iconic Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time in 27 years!
He is not back to the show until January, where Deborah sat next to him on Today establish and explain that fear of Al’s health is a big deal. “We haven’t forgotten that this is an important, important thing for Al here. He is a living, breathing miracle. He really is. I’m not exaggerating it, I don’t think. Al is a very, very, very sick man and I don’t think most people know that,” Deborah asserts.
