Leading telecommunications company Bharti Airtel on Tuesday announced the launch of its 5G service in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Rourkela.
The company says it’s been super fast 5G services respectively at the Kalinga and Birsa Munda stadiums in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela, which will host the upcoming Men’s Hockey World Championships.
Airtel 5G Plus services will be made available to customers in phases as the company continues to build out its network and complete its rollout. Customers with devices that support fifth-generation (5G) mobile systems will enjoy the high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no additional cost until the rollout is more widely available, according to the statement. released on Tuesday.
Airlines said it will strengthen its network to deliver its services statewide in the near future.
Soumendra Sahu, CEO – Odisha, Bharti Airtel, said: “We are delighted to be powering the two stadiums hosting the men’s world hockey tournament. While at the stadium, customers can experience a super-fast network that allows them to stream high-definition video, chat with people, upload photos and videos instantly, and more.”
He also added: “We will also roll out our 5G services in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and Rourkela. Now customers can experience ultrafast networks and enjoy up to 20 faster speeds. -30 times faster than current 4G speeds…”
Airtel 5G Plus will strengthen the entire portfolio of services that the telecom company offers. In addition, it will allow ultra-fast access to high-definition video streaming, gaming, multiplayer chat, instant photo uploads, and more. The company says India will be able to drive economic growth as Airtel 5G Plus will drive education, healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, mobility and logistics.
Bharti Airtel also announced rolled out its 5G services in Hissar and Rohtak in Haryana last week. The telecom giant also said that users with 5G-enabled devices will be able to experience Airtel’s high-speed 5G network without paying any extra fees. This will only happen until the rollout of 5G services is more widely available.
