Airtel has also confirmed that customers in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur and Varanasi will start using the Airtel 5G Plus service in phases. Customers who already have a 5G smartphone will be able to enjoy high-speed Airtel 5G Plus on top of their existing data plans until wider rollout.
The telecom operator claims that Airtel 5G Plus offers three advantages. First, it runs on the most widely accepted technology in the world with the most developed ecosystem. Second, the company promises the best experience – 20 to 30 times faster speeds than today along with a great voice experience and super-fast call connections. Finally, the Airtel 5G Plus network will also be more environmentally friendly with a special power reduction solution.
“Airtel has been at the forefront of India’s telecom revolution for the past 27 years. Today marks another step in our journey as we build the best network to deliver the best customer experience. For us, customers are at the core of everything we do. As a result, our solution will work on any existing 5G handset and SIM that the customer has. Our obsession with customer experience is now embellished with a better 5G solution for the environment. “Airtel 5G Plus is set to redefine the way people communicate, live, work, connect and play for years to come,” Airtle said in an official statement.
