Officials said an AirAsia flight to Kolkata had to abort take-off after a suspected bird hit at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow.
“The pilot of the AirAsia flight canceled take-off after suspecting a bird hitting the runway at around 11am. This happens before the flight can take off. The plane returned to the bay and all passengers were safely boarded,” airport spokesman Rupesh Kumar said.
He said there were more than 180 passengers on the flight.
Mr Kumar said: “The airline has arranged alternatives for the passengers.
