Air India urination case: Accused Shankar Mishra gets bail | India News



NEW DELHI: Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Tuesday granted bail to Shankar Mishraaccused of peeing on an elderly woman on an airplane Indian Airlines flight last November.
Upon hearing the defendant’s appeal against the high court’s order denying him bail, Supplementary Session Judge Harjyot Singh Bhalla granted him relief with a personal bond of $1 thousand Rs. Recently, Air India banned Mishra from flying for four months.

The urinating incident occurred on November 26, 2022, on a New York-Delhi flight in business class when Mishra was said to have relieved a 70-year-old passenger while intoxicated. After the woman registered a complaint, he was arrested by the police Delhi police on January 6.
