Defense sources said the Sukhoi Su-30 carried two pilots and the Mirage had one pilot. Both aircraft are used by the Indian Air Force in the front line.

While the two pilots of the Sukhoi plane ejected safely and were being treated at the hospital, the pilot of the Mirage-2000 was killed in the crash. “Investigation has been ordered to determine the cause of the crash involving two aircraft,” the Air Force said.
