AGI Denim has achieved LEED Gold certification from start to finish. As the first denim manufacturer and the only textile company worldwide to achieve this certification, AGI Denim has completed the certification process from spinning to garment, after obtaining the Leed Certification in 2016 and continue to achieve this certification for its spinning mill in 2021.
This latest achievement is part of a manufacturer’s roadmap marked by steps of innovation and ongoing advancement in operations, technology and responsible manufacturing.
Along with that, AGI Denim is the first—and currently the only—BO Joint Stock Company operating in Pakistan.

The denim manufacturer has achieved LEED certification by demonstrating sustainable practices in the design, construction and operation of the facility. This includes using renewable energy such as solar panels, lighting, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems to save energy, reduce water use, recycle water, use eco-friendly materials environment and implement waste management programs.
In addition to the spinning mill, the fabric production facilities are highly automated to ensure high quality products while maximizing worker safety in the process.
The garment factory is currently producing 24 million garments every year. Of these, eight million garments are processed through 34 high speed laser machines. The use of this technology results in a 48% increase in efficiency in terms of time and energy. Automation such as automated fabric cutters and robotic sprayers further developed in-house allows the company to focus on empowering its workforce through trained skill sets.
