Age catching up with Nitish Kumar who has become ‘a little bit delusional’, says Prashant Kishor | Patna News

PATNA: Election strategist-politician Prashant Kishor on Sunday alleged that age has caught up with his former senior in JD (U) and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar who are also feeling “politically isolated.” Kishor also said Nitish seems to have become “a bit delusional”.
Kishor made these comments in response to Nitish’s statement Saturday, in which the latter explicitly stated that the former was working for the BJP and had advised him to merge JD(U) with National festival.
“Gradually, age seems to catch up with Nitish Kumar and the effects of age are now clearly visible on him. He wanted to say something, but ended up saying something completely different,” said Kishor, who previously worked with Nitish as an election strategist and then as a senior colleague at Nitish. JD (U). Kishor was the national vice president of JD(U) when Nitish was its national president.
“Nitish Ji said on Saturday that I am working on the BJP agenda. At the same time, he (Nitish) also said that I suggest he merge his JD (U) with the Congress. How is both of these possible at the same time? If I am working on the BJP agenda, why am I asking him to strengthen the Congress? If the second problem is true, then the first problem will not be true. It shows there is an impact of age on Nitish,” Kishor said in a video statement sent to TOI on Sunday.
“In English, there is a word ‘illusion’. It seems he (Nitish) has become a bit ‘delusional.’ …. He is feeling “politically isolated” around people he doesn’t trust. This scared him. And because of his teenage years, he kept saying nonsense, ‘Kishor who is currently on the show’Pad Yatra‘ (march on foot) said in the video statement.
Although Kishor claimed that Nitish said two contradictory things about him – working on the BJP agenda and the CM proposal to merge the JD(U) with Congress – at the same time, CM Bihar did not say the same. so on Saturday.
In fact, Nitish said on Saturday that Kishor came to him about ‘four to five years ago’ and offered to merge JD(U) with Congress. Nitish explicitly said on Saturday, “Kishor has now gone with the BJP and is acting on the BJP leaders.”
Reactions to Kishor’s New Protest Against National President CM, JD (U) Rajiv Ranjan Singh aliases Lalan Singh on Sunday said, “Nitish Ji is right that Kishor is currently working for the BJP in Bihar. Campaign strategists continue to work for different parties in different states.”
