AFLW star Moana Hope shared her sweet encounter with her newborn and sister Vinny.

On Wednesday, the 34-year-old posted a video of Vinny playing with her son Ahi, which Moana shares with wife Isabella Carlstrom.

In the video, baby Ahi giggles as Vinny waves and holds his leg while saying ‘hello’, while Isabella pulls him forward and forward.

Moana is the sole caregiver for Lavinia, or Vinny, who lives with a rare neurological condition called Moebius syndrome.

It comes after Moana candidly spoke about the terrible trolling she endured during the height of her sports career.

‘You’ll be in a shopping mall and [have] she recently told The Project.

‘They’re swearing at you and they’re yelling things at you… Received messages on social media asking “go back to the kitchen where you belong.”

In addition to receiving death threats and sexist abuse, Moana revealed that social media trolls will also target her disabled sister Lavinia.

“I get death threats, Vinny gets death threats,” she continued. ‘We let the police in on several occasions.’

Regarding the pressure she faces on the court, Moana told The Project that she will often drop out of practice in tears.

She recalls: “Once, my mother had a kind of mini stroke. ‘And I took my mum to the hospital because I took care of her. And I was told, “If you don’t come to practice, you won’t play.”

Moana said despite the pressures of being a football woman, that hasn’t stopped her from wearing the jersey again.

‘I would love to play foot back. That’s my goal – to run through a banner with my kids and really play the way I want to play foot,’ she said.

It was the first child Moana bore – with Isabella having previously given birth to their daughter Svea.

In the same interview, she told The Project that she’s always dreamed of having a baby – but the experience has been a difficult one.

‘I’ve always wanted to carry a child with me all my life. I think if you can and you want to, I think it’s the ultimate experience and I want to experience that,’ she said.

However, when Ahi was born, she was initially unable to breathe.

She explained: ‘I went from screaming and crying, from wanting to strangle the man who gave me the epidural to what the score of the game in Melbourne was.

‘So she put her foot in and I watched that and it happened very quickly. He was born and he wasn’t breathing when he first came out, it was really scary and for me I didn’t know what was going on. ‘

Fortunately, Ahi made a quick recovery and the couple settled into life as a family of four.

‘Walking is too easy compared to giving birth. The biggest challenge of my life is easy, mentally and physically,” Moana added.

The athlete and model wife announced the birth of son and second child Ahi in June.

‘We are proud parents of this beautiful boy. His name is Ahi Joseph Carlstrom 24.6’, Moana wrote on Instagram along with pictures of him at the time.

‘Weighing almost 4kg, we endured 24 hours of labor, which was the hardest and most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life both physically and emotionally.

‘It brought us to the prettiest boy. My son is perfect and your Mom loves you. ‘

Meanwhile, Isabella talked about Moana, writing: ‘Ahi Joseph Carlstrom was born on 24.06. Moana Hope you’re awesome, I’m so proud of you.
