The Pittsburgh Steelers are going through the motions of a quarterback rivalry. The Baltimore Ravens are hoping some new players will support Lamar Jackson. The Cincinnati Bengals are making arrangements to protect Joe Burrow. The Cleveland Browns have to make sure their defense doesn’t flop where it matters. Baltimore Ravens 2022 training camp preview
Entering Camp: A full cavalry unit consisting of running backwards, defenders and others is returning from Major injury disaster in 2021. The entire Senior Bowl roster of hot draft picks will vie for the chance. But we all know what the Ravens’ training camp really is: the lazy, goofy Lamar Jackson joins.
Camp battles to watch:
Clifton Brown reported for the website Ravens that James Proche, a little used trickster in his first two seasons, had a strong season and developed a chemistry with Jackson. Team sites are a great source of information that coaches/organizations want you to hear, so while Proche may be up for a breakout, Raven can also challenge David Duvernay and Rashod Bateman (like Proche, the perma-prospect will be forced to earn a scholarship after Marquise Brown’s departure) or pour ice on any speculation that they’ll be chasing a veteran payee.
The only reasons that Raven’s legion take over not being ranked near the Bears as one of the league’s worst legions are: b) Greg Roman or Jackson is blamed for everything that went wrong when the game went wrong. play Raven pass, depending on how you vote in the general election; and c) The crows only run the ball a million times and hit the finish line when things are going well for them.

- If Watson is suspended for a short time or not at all: Well, we live in a society of consequences and nothing matters but self-interest and fleeting pleasures. Oops, I might be in the hot baths in Budapest when you read this. Go Browns!
- If everyone is still waiting for the verdict: This is what happens when you allow your arbitrator to charge billable hours. Milk for them, Judge Robinson! Dry milk!
Camp battles to watch: The Browns’ defense, like a Cadbury Creme egg, looks solid on the outside but has a nasty central part. Jordan Elliott and former Jaguars prospect Taven Bryan were brought on as defensive starters, but newcomer Perrion Winfrey (Oklahoma) looks like Aaron Donald’s second appearance at the Senior Bowl. Journeyman Sheldon and pre-2021 training warrior Tommy Togiai are also present in this combination. If no one steps up (and Watson plays), the 2022 Browns could end up just like the 2021 Chargers: just good enough to lose a few important games because they can’t stop the run.

Back to Haunting: The Browns have locked Donovan Peoples-Jones in as WR2 and now hope that he becomes one of the two. The fantasy community is getting excited about Pe people-Jones because of Watson, his shared goals, some of his sensational plays in 2020 and 2021, etc. Walkthrough is skeptical about the players who plan to “pull out”. demolition” because their team had already spent all their money and selected drafts at other locations.
The biggest competition for Pe People-Jones goals will come from third pick David Bell (Purdue), whose 40-yard distance is measured by sundial, and David Njoku, who is sure to turn become Travis Kelce if he gets paid like Travis Kelce, right?

Preview of Cincinnati Bengals 2022 training camp
Entering Camp: The Bengali provided us with one of the most undeniably stupid camp controversies in NFL history last year: Ja’Marr Chase is going bankrupt because NFL football is too big for him. Alas, we won’t see or hear much about Chase and Joe Burrow now in training camp because they’re the NFL’s most exciting throw-and-catch duo. We’ll have to wait until September to enjoy them. And the Bengals won’t be a reliable source for the August silence any time in the near future.
Camp battles to watch: Defender Jackson Carman was one of the Bengals’ worst offensive lineups last season, even though the competition was tough. The team replaces everyone but Carman and is likely to contrast Jonah Williams with the veterans this season. Carman, the second-year professional athlete, was fending off Cordell Volson’s push in the fourth round. The Bengals really need both Carman and Volson to strengthen so they have some depth on the offensive line; several players who were almost beaten by Burrow for the second year in a row in 2021 (Isaiah Prince, Hakeem Adeniji) remain on the bench.
Newcomers Haunted: Alex Cappa and La’el Collins arrived to bring stability to the attack, but Ted Karras arrived from New England with an additional winning package. “He’s a loud leader you want out of your center,” Burrow said in OTAs. “He’s above and beyond what you could ask for.” Zac Taylor says “Ted is going to be a coach one day.” It was surprising that the Patriots let Karras go, as they were even more hungry for coaches than for the interior managers.
Circle-It Date: Not available. Taylor is a disciple of Sean McVay don’t play anyone school’s pre-season workload, and a battle at the left guard just generates so much interest. Feel free to sleep on the Bengals until the season starts. They’ll make sure to keep you sane afterwards.
Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp 2022 Preview
Entering Camp: The Steelers are planning a non-competition between Mitch Trubisky and rookie Kenny Pickett. That means my colleagues and I, by oath to the internet, have to spend pre-season smashing tables and pretending it’s going to be the biggest justice event since [insert depressing real-world headline from last week here] if Pickett wasn’t the one to start Week 1.
Camp battles to watch: Trubisky vs Pickett (with Mason Rudolph nominally still on the roster) is interesting simply because it’s a Steelers midfield rivalry. We haven’t seen such a thing in almost 20 years, don’t really know how much patience Mike Tomlin would have with a non-Roethlisberger, not sure how much benefit coordinator Matt Canada would be. more for coordinator Matt Canada, and it was clear that any capable quarterback would be able to lead the Steelers to eight or nine wins if TJ Watt and company helped with 50 sacks. It is more of a theoretical competition than one where a clear quarter of the future is likely to emerge. But compared to the Seahawks, it was like watching Darth Vader vs Obi Wan.
Newcomers Haunted: We name full-back Levi Wallace Steelers’ Most Underrated Player on our ESPN series a few weeks ago. And yes, Wallace played well during Tre’Davious White’s absence, making him a solid replacement for Joe Haden. The point is that the Wallace / Cameron Sutton / Ahkello Witherspoon cornerback trio is built entirely in the style of a third full-back / starting in-place. The Steelers need Wallace to go all the way from an underrated, under-controlled freedom bargain to someone who can cover Ja’Marr Chase. It will be a great climb.
