Aerospace stocks are hot on Wall Street, boosted by analysts’ expectations that global air travel demand will continue to grow. However, there is a very real risk to a bright year for the sector – rising interest rates.
First, the case of strong demand: international air traffic in November, the latest month for which data is available, was down about 25% from November 2019, according to the International Air Transport Association.
