Adlerflug Colt dominates Day 3 at Arqana Sale
Demand remained strong on the third day of the October Five Sale on October 19, showcasing the first half of Part 2 of the catalog. A total of 132 (85%) of the 156 cubs offered were sold for an average of €26,852 (US$26,441) and an average of €22,000 (US$21.663). Turnover for the day amounted to €3,544,500 ($3,490,322).
Son of Adlerflug Knocked Down for $123,089
Two lots of the late Adlerflug were included in the catalog, one of which was from Marco Bozzi, who had the final say of 125,000 euros ($123,089) for the pony (Lot 398) from the warrior’s granddaughter. Classic Flute Wins, a dual type 1 winner in the United States. He was deposited by Haras d’Ombreville.
