Sanrio and Sunblink have announced yet another product Hello Kitty Island Adventure Updated, with a new event, new weather and face and back accessories now available as of 7.1. All new features also appear in one New trailer released.
The video begins with a look at the new weather. Currently there is Starfall, which looks like a meteor shower. When that happens, Starchest and Stardrakes will be available. Next is a look at underwater life and related decorations. Those are tied to the Under the Sea event. There will be different colored mermaid tails to enter. In particular, the color orange appears in the video.
Then new customization options regarding decorations in version 1.7 appeared. The generating station is displayed first. It highlights how someone can create different types of candles and use dyes to color them. This seems to be tied to Wish me Mell, as she demonstrated in the video. The only things missing are the face and clear back accessories Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

This is the second update to appear in May 2024. The first update involves a series of Gudetama items and events for Meh month. It also means having the chance to meet Nisetama-san and receive new items. However, Nisetama-san is not a permanent resident of the island like Wish me Mell.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure available for Mac and Apple devices through Apple Arcade and the Meh Gudetama Month event runs until May 31, 2024.
