Aaron Rodgers‘the flirtation about retiring this season influenced Davante Adams’ decision to leave Green Bay Packers.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Adams said that uncertainty surrounding Rodgers’ status in 2022 and beyond in Green Bay played a role in Adams’ desire to leave.
“I have an aspiration to do things really, really big and be remembered, and that’s really not a point in my career where I’m willing to sacrifice Aaron isn’t there after a year or two,” he said. Adams said.
