Adam Carolla: Rob Reiner is a ‘useful idiot’

Adam Carolla had fun playing an August clip from “Real Time with Bill Maher” last year he played it again this week.

Why?

The excerpt says a lot about America’s position in the new year, divided by a media outlet that holds important stories from half the country.

Carolla and her longtime “Loveline” partner Drew Pinsky presents the scarcity of truth in society on the latest edition of “The Adam and Drew Program.” They cover the Russian collusion hoax and how Representative Adam Schiff, a California Democrat, claims it’s true month after month, year after year, despite having more raw intelligence than the public normal.

“Does he really think Trump is a cat for the Kremlin?” Carol asked. “It’s unthinkable, given the information he has.”

Dr Pinsky said: “I think Rob Reiner believed it.

‘”Rob Reiner is a useful idiot,” Carolla said of the legendary director. “You see him being interviewed on [‘Real Time with Bill Maher’]. He watches CNN all day.”

According to Merriam-Webster, the term “useful idiot” is “a naive or gullible person who can be manipulated or used to advance a political goal or agenda”.

The duo then picked up the Reiner/Maher clip in question, noting how many times Reiner lied in just a short amount of time. The director claimed President Trump personally led an armed uprising on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Trump was not at the Capitol, and his tweet that day called for peace. The rioters causing chaos in the Capitol were not armed. Some used objects found in their clashes with the police, reprehensible behavior that is uncertain.

Except they didn’t deceive Reiner. That’s misinformation he learned from far-left news sources like CNN and MSNBC.

The clip also features Maher questioning his panel on media covering the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, as revealed by the New York Post, during the 2020 presidential campaign Possible scandal Move the election to President Donald Trump enough people heard about it.

Instead, both Big Tech and biased media like NPR claimed it was Russian disinformation without investigating the report or providing evidence to back up that claim. They eventually confirmed its accuracy, but by then all the presidential votes had been counted.

Task completed.

Podcaster and expert Sam Harris agree on the stoning tactic. Harris argues that anything that keeps Trump from being re-elected to a second term is worth it.

Maher asked panelist Reiner, the director of “Misery,” “The Princess Bride,” and “Stand By Me.”

At first, Reiner said he was unaware that the media had covered up the story. He later claimed that he knew that reporters did it.

That’s it?

“I think [Rob Reiner] is a talented guy, but he is a dope. And the reason he’s addicted is because he forces himself,” Carolla said, noting that Reiner was able to restrict his news access to MSNBC-like outlets with a news story.

“You’ve turned yourself into a drug by taking a feeding spoon with something you only get from the White House and CNN,” he said. “It’s not like Rob Reiner doesn’t have the intellectual capacity to do this, he forces himself to become a lunatic just by taking information from one side.”

In contrast, Maher is as liberal as Reiner but he watches a variety of news sources. Dr. Pinsky said he had talked about that tactic with Maher months earlier, and that he found the HBO host eager to know more aspects of any given news story.

That’s how doctors were once asked to behave.

  • Look for information
  • Ask a narrative question
  • Be curious about your bias confirmation document

“We were taught to seek the truth,” says Dr. Pinsky. “That just disappeared.”

“Look, once you have Trump Derangement, it goes away,” Carolla said.
