A Delhi police team brought two actresses inside Tihar prison to “re-enact” their alleged meeting with fraudster Sukesh Chandrashekhar as part of an investigation into a Rs 200 extortion case, the police said. the official said Monday.

A senior police officer said the Delhi Police team brought actresses Nikki Tamboli and Sofia Singh to the number one central prison in Tihar on Saturday to “re-enact” their encounters with ‘ scammers’ as part of an ongoing investigation.
Chandrashekhar, who is currently in prison, is accused of defrauding various people, including famous individuals such as former Fortis Healthcare promoter, Shivinder Mohan Singh’s wife, Aditi Singh.
EOW has so far questioned Bollywood actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi along with former TV presenter Pinky Irani and stylist Leepakshi Ellawadi, officials said.
During their time in Tihar, many people including celebrities arrived in luxury cars and got inside the prison by saying they were there to see Chandrashekar, the officer said.
Tamboli appeared in several reality shows while Singh acted in Hindi and Telegu films, officials said.
Police said video recording of the entire meeting was also made.
“Many people have visited Chandrashekhar inside the prison. However, we have only summoned those who are relevant to our investigation. Currently, Chandrashekar is being held in Mandoli prison,” the official said. know.
Police (Crime) Special Commissioner Ravindra Yadav said, “We are thoroughly investigating the case and that is why we have recreated the scenes of the actresses meeting with Chandrashekhar.
“That gave us a clear understanding of how this fraud was done.
