Mr Shah’s tweet has garnered more than 11,000 likes and several comments. Heathrow Airport also responded to the tweet apologizing for the incident. “Good morning, we’re sorry to hear about this encounter. Can you send us a direct message?” the airport wrote in the comments.

Some internet users also praised Mr. Shah for standing up to the racist remarks. Some even called on the British government to take the necessary measures.

“We need Miss Sarabhai there. She will give a savage answer. This is fine, just like typical Mr. Sarabhai. Miss that series,” one user wrote. “Next time please write one more line that whatever they get today is due to Indian money, their ancestors plundered,” another said.

Satish Shah, who has appeared in several Bollywood films, is best known for his role in the popular TV comedy series. ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’. He also appeared as a judge on the TV show’Comedy Circus’.

Mr. Shah has starred in films such as ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’, ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Khichdi: The Movie’, among others. He was last seen in the 2014 movie ‘Humshakals’.
