Acer launches the world’s lightest 16-inch OLED laptop

Cherry launched the world’s lightest laptop – Swift Edge in the US. The 16-inch OLED laptop weighs 1.17kg and is powered by an AMD processor. Acer’s thin and light notebook offers plenty of connectivity options and supports Microsoft Pluton.
Acer Swift Edge comes with a price tag of $1,499.99 (Rs 1,23,400) and is available for purchase in North America. Customers can purchase laptops from Acer electronics stores and other official regional resellers. Acer is yet to reveal any details about the laptop’s launch in India.
Acer Swift Edge Specifications
The Acer Swift Edge comes with a 16-inch 4K OLED display with a resolution of 3840×2400 pixels. The company claims that the laptop is made of an alloy that is 20% lighter and 2 times stronger than normal aluminum.
The device is powered by AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processor combined with AMD Radeon Graphics. The laptop has 1TB of SSD space and 32GB of RAM. Acer Swift Edge runs Windows 11 Home operating system and comes with Microsoft Pluton support for security.
The Acer Swift Edge has an FHD webcam and is powered by a 54WHr 3-cell battery.
Acer recently launched an I-series TV running Android 11. The new TV series comes in 4 sizes – a 32-inch model with High Definition screen resolution; while 43 inch, 50 inch and 55 inch models have been launched with Ultra High Definition screen resolution. Acer has launched 4 TVs priced at Rs 19,990 (32HD), Rs 34,990 (43UHD), Rs 40,990 (50UHD) and Rs 47,990 (55UHD). The TV I series is available on all major e-commerce platforms as well as offline retail stores.
