ABC holds “Emergency Meeting” on GMA host’s alleged incident
Managing Director at ABC is holding “emergency meetings” about fallout caused by “Good Morning America” co-organizer Amy Roback and TJ Holmeswho is said to have been engaged in a secret affair for the past few months.
A source close to the situation told New York Post Office that Robach, who is married to actor Andrew Shue, and Holmes, who is married to immigration attorney Marilee Fiebig, will “continue their work if their ratings rise” in the next few weeks.
ABC News Insiders Reveal GMA Workplace Scandal Has Helped Rankings So Far
The Post reports that the source said the scandal has only helped their ratings since the story was first revealed on Wednesday.
“Ultimately it’s about ratings,” the source said, adding that the scandal has caused “ratings… soar.”
Meanwhile, another insider added that ABC News Chairman Kim Godwin was unaware of the incident. A third source told the outlet that the couple could face disciplinary action if they don’t disclose their previous relationship.
“If ABC doesn’t know, they should enforce company policy,” said a senior Hollywood source.
Exact details of ABC’s policy on inter-office relationships were not immediately available.
Sources say the work suspension is still on the table for not disclosing the relationship between the offices
Despite the sky-high ratings, one of the sources said the two could be suspended for illegal dating at work.
The source said: “This story is old-fashioned gossip. “The most telling thing is that they are both stupid.”
Representatives for ABC and “Good Morning America” did not immediately respond to requests for comment, according to the Post.
On Thursday, Robach and Holmes both held a “GMA” together for the first time since the story broke, however they made no mention of the reported incident.
“Who looks forward to the weekend?” Holmes said awkwardly. “Uhh, me!” Robach replied. “Yes? Of course it is,” said Holmes.

“10 years ago, Marilee Fiebig married me,” the former CNN host, 45, captioned the old wedding photos. “And despite my best efforts, she’s been married to me for the past 10 years.”
He continued: “It’s not exaggeration. I’m not dramatic. I gave her many reasons, excuses and opportunities to help her go well**.
In the post, Holmes, who shares a 9-year-old daughter, Sabine, with Fiebig, also praised her “natural black female superpowers” by showing him “unbelievable grace and patience” understandable”.
News of the scandal broke on Wednesday following reports of a months-long love affair between “GMA” companions
On Wednesday, Shade room Initially reported that Holmes and Amy Robach had been in a relationship that lasted months together, the two apparently left their partners in the wake of the scandal.
Page Six confirmed that their romance began in March, around the same time the two began training together for the New York City half-marathon.
In August, the two allegedly left their respective spouses after being spotted “clumsily” in bars near ABC News headquarters in May, a source said.
