Ulvaeus posted a number of photos throughout the day, one of which shows BBC QI presenter Toksvig in a red coat standing next to Ulvaeus, who is wearing a suit, and his wife, Sas, who is wearing a green wrap dress.
Host Gyles Brandreth said in a post on Instagram that he was “delighted to meet Björn Ulvaeus of Abba” and Sas for his Rosebud podcast.
He added that Toksvig had presided over the ceremony and Ulvaeus said she had made the day “extra special”.
TV presenter Toksvig has been friends with Björn since the pair worked together on Mamma Mia: The Party! in 2018.
Ulvaeus is best known as one of four members of Swedish pop group Abba, who this year celebrated the 50th anniversary of their Eurovision Song Contest victory with the song Waterloo.
The group consisted of two couples – Ulvaeus and Agnetha Faltskog, and Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.
The Swedish musician married Abba bandmate Fältskog in 1971. The couple had two children, Linda, 49, and Peter, 44, before divorcing in 1980.
Andersson and Lyngstad also divorced in 1981, a year before the band broke up.
The quartet did not reunite to perform at Eurovision 2024 despite the event being held in Malmo, Sweden.
Ulvaeus was also previously married to Lena Kallersjo from 1981 to 2022.
