Atishi claims for 15 years, BJP doesn’t deliver in MCD.

Atishi, senior leader of AAP, said the BJP cannot claim votes for the civic polls in Delhi based on the work they have done for 15 years. She also criticized the BJP, which has ruled the civil service for many years, for alleged corruption and “zero assignment”.
“Does the BJP have the courage to say vote for us if we clean Delhi in 15 years. They can’t claim votes based on the work they’ve done in 15 years. That’s why at Why should they distract attention by calling on ministers, premiers, parliamentarians,” she said of the BJP’s high-decibel campaign.
Elections to the 250 wards of the Delhi Municipal Corporation are currently underway. Ms. Atishi said it is important for Delhi people that AAP win these elections.
“For 15 years, the BJP has been in power in MCD. However, none of the fundamental problems have been solved. Look at the waste situation in Delhi. That is the main responsibility of the MCD but it has not been solved. ,” indicates the MLA from Kalkaji.
Pointing to a road outside the school in Delhi, where she cast her ballot, she said: “It’s the MCD road. MCD hasn’t built this road in 15 years. With my MLA budget from the government Delhi, I built this road. This is the situation everywhere.”
She stated, “For 15 years, BJP had no deliveries in the MCD.
Ms Atishi added, it is important for the people of Delhi that they bring in a government that works better than a government that stops all the work being done.
On questions raised about the lack of funds, she insists there is “corruption” in the BJP-ruled civilian body.
“When you have an honest party in power, the revenue goes up. Why couldn’t the BJP have had revenue all these years from parking fees, advertising and property taxes? All that money has gone. where?” she pointed to the increase in the budget of the Delhi government.
“In Kalkaji, almost 80% of the people pay taxes. Why isn’t that money used for local development?” she asked.
