More sire wins Group 2 A’Ali (Ire) welcomed his first reported ponies in the past few weeks, among them a non-winning pony in the Maureen (Ire) Double Group 3 (Ire)Holy Roman Emperor {Ire}), the fourth in G1 Coronation S.
“Maureen is clearly a mare for A’Ali and we are delighted with the end result,” said Newsells Park Stud General Manager Julian Dollar, where A’Ali stands. “This foal is less than two days old, but very strong, well proportioned and well put together. Our hope has always been that A’Ali’s ponies will be the same model as him and far from everything we’re seeing and hearing, which is exactly what we’re getting.”
Longview Stud breeder Eugene Daly had two mares give birth to A’Ali ponies last week. Luminesce (Ire) (Muhaarar {GB}), from the family of Group 1 winner Mohaather (GB), raised a flying pony, while winner Moddy Poddle (Ire) (Pride Of Dubai {Aus}) ) produces a flying pony.
Daly said, “I was impressed with both A’Ali ponies born in the hatchery. They are quality individuals with great strength and are very similar to their males. Having seen him again at the recent TBA stallion at Tattersalls last week, I look forward to supporting him again this year.”
Another newcomer A’Ali is a pony in Eric Cantillon’s Maajmeh Dawn (Ire) (Dawn Approach {Ire}), she is the half-sister to the Viren Army of hero Dee S. (Ire) (spinning candy).
Cantillon said, “This is a good pony. Powerful, precise and has a lot to do with him. I like him so much, I’ve decided to give him back the mare this year and another mare next to him.”
The late Society Rock’s son (Ire) took the G2 Norfolk S., G2 Prix Robert Papin and G2 Flying Childers S. in second place, before adding the G3 Sapphire S. and G3 Coral Charge S. in second place. Tuesday. The recipient of 116 mares in his first season, he cost £5,000 at this year’s Newsells Park Stud. ONE Unique livestock incentive program are also being provided by Newsells Park.
