Aaditya Thackeray’s car pelted with stones in Aurangabad, claims Sena leader | Aurangabad News

AURANGABAD: A senior leader of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) claimed that stones were thrown during a public meeting spoken by Aaditya Thackeray in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra on Tuesday night.
But a police official said there were only slogans from two rival groups and no stoning.

Leader Shiv Sena (UBT) and opposition leader in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Ambadas Danve tweeted, “Three or four stones were thrown towards the meeting in the Mahalgaon area as they were leaving.”
Danve claimed that rocks were thrown at Thackeray’s car. He alleges that the attack was carried out during a public meeting and when Thackeray was leaving the venue.
“This is an attempt to create a quarrel between the Hindu and Dalit communities and we condemn that,” he added.
Danve also demanded action against police officials including SP for failing to provide adequate security for Thackeray’s event.
“However, district police chief Maneesh Kalwaniya denied that there was any act of stoning. Only two groups chanted slogans,” he said.
