When Jurassic World: Dominion Coming to theaters in two weeks, we’ll see what happens when the dinosaurs walk among us. Odds are most humans will be turned into delicious dinosaur snacks, but we probably wouldn’t go down without a fight. Jurassic World Evolution 2 players can download a new expansion that adds some of the movie’s new dinosaurs to their park on the same day. The Dominion Biosyn expansion adds Gigantosaurus, Dreadnoughtus, Pyroraptor, Quetzalcoatlus, Therizinosaurus, and the long overdue Dimetrodon.
Gigantosaurs’ behavior in Dominate seems to be modeled after dark Knight Joker. This strange point of inspiration was revealed by director Colin Trevorrow in an interview with Empire Magazine. “I wanted something like the Joker,” he said. “It just wants to see the world burn.” We’ll have to wait and see how much that destructive quality manifests in the beast version of the game.
Dinosaur appearances are just a small part of this expansion, offering a new ‘what if’ campaign inspired by the upcoming movie. This campaign allows players to add new buildings to their park, as well as many new species, some with fur. Existing dinosaurs will also receive new skins. The new story unfolds with multiple characters, including Claire Dearing (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard), Dr Alan Grant (voiced by Sam Neill), Dr Ellie Sattler (voiced by Laura Dern) and Lewis Dodgson (voiced by Laura Dern) voiced by Campbell) Scott).
Other new park features include an underground Hyper Loop transport network, invisible fences, and new vehicles and decorations. All can be used in Sandbox.
Frontier Developments calls this expansion the biggest and is scheduled to release on June 14.
