Fox News Editorial Board Member Accused of Calling Zeta Phi Beta a “Black Sorority”
The July 24 broadcast featured Brian criticizing Vice president for speaking at the sorority’s Grand Boulé and missing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to parliament.
Republicans say, “The problem with Kamala Harris is that, number one, her profile hasn’t been tapped enough…and number two, she hasn’t sat down for interviews.” Brian continued, “…the most recent decision, you have to question. She will not appear in the joint session of Parliament with the prime minister today.”
Additionally, Kilmeade said the presumptive Democratic nominee “rather settle, in the summer, a sorority — a [colored] sorority — like she couldn’t get away from that. So it was her decision, and it was her decision to support the protesters.”
The clip quickly went viral after a Politico reporter, Eugene Daniels, first posted about his use of the racist term on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In a private conversation, Daniels revealed that the network had told him that Brian did not use the offensive term. On X, Daniels claimed that the audio sounded a little distorted because Kilmeade allegedly used the term, but he accepted what the network said.
I have spoken to Fox News about this and plan to speak to Brian when he is off the air. They have made it clear to me that he is a college educated man and not black.
The audio may be grainy but I trust Brian and his team. pic.twitter.com/PNNV15xbfe
