Baby Reindeer and The Crown stars make shortlist

The stars of Baby Reindeer and The Crown are among this year’s Emmy nominees.
Scottish comedian Richard GaddThe creator of the controversial Netflix series Baby Reindeer, is nominated for three awards – acting, writing and producing.
Jessica Gunningwho plays Martha’s stalker, was also nominated for an acting award, as were her co-stars. Nava Mau (Teri) and Tom Goodman-Hill (Darrien).
The series has a total of 11 nominations. The most nominated is the Japanese-set samurai epic Shogun with 25 nominations, while The Bear set a record for a comedy with 23 nominations.

Imelda Staunton nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series, for her role as Elizabeth II in Netflix’s final series of the royal family The Crown.
Jonathan Pryce (Prince Philip), Dominic West (Prince of Wales, Prince Charles), Elizabeth Debicki (Diana, Princess of Wales) and Lesley Manville (Princess Margaret) was also nominated.
And Claire Foy – who played Elizabeth II in the first two seasons – was nominated for best guest actress, returning in the final scene as the queen reflects on her life.
Olivia ColmanThe former lead actress of The Crown, is nominated for another role – Chef Terry in the American restaurant drama The Bear.
The Bear has a total of 10 acting nominations, including its stars. Jeremy Allen White And Ayo Edebiriand British guest actor Will pollute.
Other nominated British actors include Idris Elba for Hijack, Gary Oldman And Jack Lowden for Slow Horses, Tom Hollander for Feud, Jonathan Bailey for companions, Michaela Coel for Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Matt Berry for What we do in the shadows, and Temple of Juno for Fargo.
For the murder mystery comedy Only Murders in the Building, the main cast Steve Martin, Martin Short And Selena Gomez all are running, along with Meryl Streepwho joined the third season.
Other places, Jennifer Aniston And Reese Witherspoon will go head-to-head for their roles on The Morning Show, while Jodie Foster And Robert Downey Jr are also among the big names on the shortlist.
The Emmy Awards are the most prestigious awards in the American television industry.
The winner will be announced on September 15.
