‘The Karate Kid: Street Rumble’ Coming to Switch in September
GameMill Entertainment has announced The Karate Kid: Street Fightera 16-bit pixel art fighting game featuring several playable characters from the classic series. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch on September 20, 2024.
Now, we know what you’re thinking… GameMill, ew, right? The publisher has amassed a bit of a bad reputation over the years, putting out truly terrible games like The Walking Dead: Fate And Skull Island: Rise of Kong. But you know what..? This doesn’t look so bad. It actually looks pretty good.
We’ll reserve judgment until we actually play it, but based on the trailer alone, it looks fast, furious, and pretty damn good. It reminds us of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game And Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge; this isn’t exactly the most original idea for a game, but as long as it’s fun that’s all that really matters.
Now let’s take a look at the main features:
– Relive the adventures of The Karate Kid while facing challenges posed by Cobra Kai and other enemies. The game follows the storyline of the original trilogy, allowing you to experience the ups and downs of The Karate Kid’s journey.
