iPhone Users in India, Apple Has a Serious Warning for You – Here’s What You Need to Do
Apple recently notified some iPhone users in India of a potential spyware attack that could remotely take control of their devices. This is the second warning the company has sent to users in India and 98 other countries globally. Since 2021, Apple has issued similar notices to users in more than 150 countries.
Apple described these attacks, similar to those using NSO Group’s Pegasus, as extremely sophisticated and rare, the report said. The company stressed that such attacks involve significant financial investments and target a very small number of individuals worldwide.

In a recent announcement, Apple warned iPhone users that these attacks are ongoing and global in scope.
Earlier this year, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (Cert-In) highlighted vulnerabilities in Apple’s operating systems, particularly in flagship products like the Safari web browser. Cert-In warned that older versions of Safari and iOS could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code on targeted devices.
