Robert Pattinson Doesn’t Mind At All When Suki Waterhouse Sings About Her Ex
Suki State found a love worth singing about Robert Pattinson.
In one New interview with the British Fashionpublished on Tuesday, she described Pattinson as “quite a nervous person” in general, but there was one area where he was particularly secure: Waterhouse’s music, including songs about her ex.
Pattinson has “a lot of humor about things like that,” she says. “He really doesn’t care. He’s like, ‘Nobody’s better than me, so screw it.'”
She and Pattinson, who have been together for about six years, have “a really pure love,” she said, but “I can go crazy with my friends” when I need creative inspiration.
And Pattinson doesn’t get freedom forever, just because of that pure love, glistening like a vampire’s skin in the sunlight“Rob can still have a bad song. You can find things that make you angry,” she said. For one, she noted that “he always had very strong opinions,” like saying she “should do an EDM track.”
Today, she and Pattinson, both British by nationality, currently live in Los Angeles with three month old daughterBut they first met at a gathering where guests were playing a game of Werewolf with some famous names.
“It was very, very intense. There were a lot of ‘big’ people who were really influential,” she said.Al Pacino was there Javier [Bardem] And Penelope [Cruz] was there… and, you know, everyone was really acting.”
They are connected through “with a slight discomfort” and throughout the night “started giggling at the absurdity of the whole thing” to the point that they “got yelled at. One director separated us because we were laughing too much.”
She eventually realised that “I became happier around” Pattinson, and life in LA “definitely became a lot more fun when I was with him”. However, she said, moving back to the UK “was always the first thing we thought about”.
Waterhouse welcomed the couple’s daughter two days after she finished recording her album. Memoirs of a Sparklemuffinwill be released in September. She said motherhood has helped her put aside other people’s opinions. “You just have to say, ‘This is what we’re doing, this is what we’re aiming for, and fuck what other people think.'”
As for Pattinson, Waterhouse credits both him and her quality rap playlist for helping her get through the birth process. “He was there with me and like all dads, he was really nervous, but for someone who’s pretty nervous, he was very calm,” she said, calling him “the dad I could hope for.”
