When we were about to close National Men’s Health Month, Cory Hardrict is telling the truth about her emotional health after divorce. Hardrict is married to the actress Tia Mowry in the previous 14 years she filed to terminate Their marriage is in October 2022.
In the documents, the ‘Sisters’ star stated the reason for the breakup was “irreconcilable differences”. Court have completed their paperwork over a year ago, in April 2023. The couple has two children: a son, Cree, and a daughter, Cairo.

Cory Hardrict shares his emotional struggles after divorce
Cory spoke candidly about his feelings following his divorce at the American Black Film Festival earlier this month. According to PerfumeHardrict spoke on a panel when the topic came up. A clip shared by Melanin Hollywood Instagram shows the actor wearing a burnt orange suit on stage.
“It’s hard when you feel like you’re going through something alone and no one understands and no one is there for you,” Cory Hardrict said. “For a year and a half I cried myself to sleep every night.”
Additionally, Cory shared that his loved ones can attest that his “kids and family mean everything” to him. So, after more than a decade of marriage and nearly two years of living together, Hardrict implied that the post-breakup period was painful for him. However, it seemed to show that he “stronger [he] think [he] used to be.”
“By the grace of God, I’m still here and keep moving forward,” the actor added.

Note that Cory Hardrict previously disclosed that fraud was not a factor. And in June 2023, Tia Mowry gave more context about why she filed for divorce.
She told Hello Beautiful that she had been considering breaking up for about five years. Although she loves her role as a wife, Mowry shares that tradition does not allow for a “constant” changing nature.
“I like being a wife. But I understand that tradition can be a blessing and a curse. What I mean is that tradition does not guarantee change, whereas change is continuous,” Mowry shares.
After several deaths in her family, she entered therapy and began to question her peace and happiness. Ultimately, she decides that choosing herself is best for her, Cree, and Cairo.
“Part of my decision was for them too. Because they saw their mother walking in the truth. I feel like it was a big lesson for them because it was not an easy decision. It was one of the hardest decisions I had to make in my entire life.”
