Nelson Mandela Bay’s mayor Babalwa Lobishe was hauled before parliament on Tuesday to answer for her repeated failure to respond to correspondence from Members of Parliament, having gone months without acknowledging their letters, phone calls or emails. Compounding the matter, Lobishe attempted to deflect responsibility for the communication breakdown onto her secretary.
