Europe/North America
We love the use of color with both regional variations here and the Western design leans heavily on the use of silhouettes with its cast of characters; it’s great. That said, the change in art style resulted in a loss of some character from the original Japanese design. It’s not a bad look by any means, but we imagine its success this week will depend a lot on your personal preferences.
Japan
Overall, the colors here are a bit cooler than the Western variant, but also a good combination. The dark red color of the dragon, the yellow and green accents on the characters’ costumes; it’s great! It does something that movie posters often do these days in that it just throws a bunch of characters into the works with no rhyme or reason, but we have to admit that it works pretty well here.
