On Tuesday, December 17, TMZ published an exclusive report claiming that the same day, Megan filed for a restraining order against Lanez. According to the outlet, the rapper reportedly alleged that she endured “several months of abuse… from Tory.”
“Even now, behind bars, Mr. Peterson shows no signs of stopping. Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Ms. Pete, Mr. Peterson continued to traumatize her multiple times and reoffended,” the petition said, per Page Six.
Specifically, Megan alleges that Lanez hired a group of bloggers to “spread defamatory statements about her.” One blogger is said to have noted on the record that Elizabeth Milagro Cooper.
Furthermore, Megan believes that Lanez and Cooper have developed a “conspiratorial relationship.” Additionally, the filing asserts that payments were even given to Cooper in exchange for her making public defamatory statements against Megan.
According to the outlet, the restraining order cites that Megan feels she is enduring “continued “‘psychological warfare’” from Lanez. Finally, the outlet reports that Megan Thee Stallion is requesting a restraining order “that would force Tory to stop contacting, harassing or threatening her — whether directly or through a third party.”

Furthermore, the next update from TMZ asserts that a source informed the agency about “financial records” confirming “several payments” made from Lanez’s father to Cooper. Additionally, the payments were allegedly made between October 2020 and March 2022 and totaled $3,000.
Additionally, on December 17, journalist Loren Lorosa shared a tweet that appeared to confirm that the “financial records” were specifically Zelle revenues.

The blogger then moved to X, formerly known as Twitter, apparently calling the recent reports a “game.” Additionally, Gramz seemed to imply that Megan Thee Stallion, her team or the media were “making fools of the public.”
