Selena Gomez revealed she is engaged to musician Benny Blanco.
The actress and singer posted a picture of her large engagement ring on Instagram with the caption “forever starts now”.
It comes after the pair confirmed their relationship last year.
Pop star Taylor Swift was among the celebrities to send their congratulations.
Gomez, a two-time Grammy nominee, posted additional photos of herself beaming, wearing the ring and a photo of Blanco holding her in what appeared to be a closet.
“Hey wait… that’s my wife,” Blanco commented under the post.
Swift replied: “Yes, I will be the flower girl.”
Rapper Cardi B, actresses Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Suki Waterhouse, and singer Lil Nas X also sent their well wishes.
In an Instagram Story shared with her 423 million followers, the most followed woman on the app also revealed a video of herself wearing the ring with her loved ones over the phone.
“Yes to this,” she can be heard saying, causing screams on the other end of the video call.
Gomez and record producer Blanco collaborated on the songs I Can’t Get Enough in 2019 and Single Soon in 2023, before announcing their relationship.
Blanco, who has also worked with Rihanna, Calvin Harris and Justin Bieber, expressed his love on the Drew Barrymore Show in May.
“She’s like the nicest, most genuine person,” he said on the talk show.
“Everything is completely real. Every day when I wake up, I like to walk past the mirror, like, walk up to her and wonder, ‘How did I get here’…
“She is one of the sweetest, most charming and humble people I have ever met.”
