New York AG says there’s no way F–king over Trump’s demand to drop $480 million scam

When Donald Trump used to be re-elected last month, he not only won a second term as the world’s most powerful person; He also shied away from any responsibility related to the federal criminal cases against him, which were dropped in a few weeks. Since then, the president-elect’s legal team has tried to have the criminal case against him in Georgia dismissed, as well the silent money in New Yorkleading to his conviction last May. And that’s not all! Trump’s legal team also asked that the civil fraud lawsuit against him in New York, which cost him more than $450 million, be dismissed. But so far the NY attorney general’s office has said nothing.

Responding to Team Trump’s request to drop the scam, Deputy Solicitor General Judith Vale wrote Tuesday: “This Office shall not rule to vacate the final judgment entered by the Supreme Court, County of New York in this action or seek to dismiss such action…. The President has no immunity from civil suits arising from unofficial conduct and such suits may be brought while the President is in office.”

Trump lawyer John Sauer Have argumentative in a letter to the NY AG Letitia James that “President Trump has called for an end to our Nation’s partisan strife and for the contending factions to join forces for the greater good of the country. This call for unity extends to the legal attack against him and his family that has overwhelmed the most recent election cycle.” He added: “As counsel to President Trump in this appeal — and now as nominee for Solicitor General of the United States — I have had the opportunity to experience the partisan divide personally and I truly believe it is necessary for the health of our Republic to end conflict and rule of law.” Sauer claimed that the case, which is being appealed, would hinder Trump’s ability to carry out his presidential job. In rejecting such an argument, Vale said the claim had “no merit.”

Trump has feel responsible for fraud last year and he had to pay more than $450 million in fines and interest in February. Including interest accruing $111,983 per day until paid, the president-elect now owes about $486 million, according to CNBC.
