Pusha T is on par with Drake & Kendrick Lamar

In a clip from the interview obtained by TSR, Pusha T shared his thoughts on the iconic rap feud between Drizzy and K.Dot. When asked if he agreed with those who said that Kendrick won the crown in their battle, Pusha was unfazed and said: “One thousand percent.”

“I think Kendrick is a lyricist and a lyricist who speaks to your soul. Like, you can be smart, you can say cute things and do things with rhythm, etc., right? But the truth really hurts, and I mean the truth like it cuts deep, and I think what Kendrick is doing is really speaking to his soul,” Pusha explained.

Pusha doubled down, saying that Kendrick Lamar won because it caused Drizzy to fail and took their rap feud to the next level by deciding to sue Universal Music Group.

“I believe that, and I believe that, you know, that will make you [tap out]. That will get you sued. That will make you do a LOT of things. Litigation is crazy! This is crazy!” Pusha added.

More on the petition from Drizzy’s Universal Music group

Drake became a hot topic again in November after he decided to sue Kendrick Lamar in court. Instead of going directly to K.Dot, Drizzy aimed his legal problems at Universal Music Group. According to TMZ, Drake is accusing UMG of running “pay schemes” and our bots to promote Kendrick’s diss song ‘Not Like Us’. The Canadian claims an “inside source” at UMG leaked the information, saying the label paid platforms — radio stations, influencers, etc. — to boost the quality of songs. The ‘Headlines’ musician is also raising eyebrows over the speed at which the song is spreading on Spotify and if that turns out to be true, he may need to present evidence that UMG broke payment laws.

UMG responds to drizzle

Universal Music Group wasted no time in responding to Drake’s accusations. A spokesperson for the label dismissed the musician’s request from the petition on November 25.

“The suggestion that UMG would do anything to sabotage any of their artists is insulting and untrue. We employ the highest ethical practices in our marketing and advertising campaigns. None of the spurious and absurd legal arguments in the filings preceding this action can hide the fact that fans have chosen the music they want to hear,” the spokesperson explained in a statement. awake.

UMG also made it clear Diversity that it doesn’t depend on the label but the fact that the fans choose the music that gets the most attention. “None of the spurious and absurd legal arguments in the filing before this action can hide the fact that fans have chosen the music they want to hear.”
