According to New York Post Officeguardian of Wendy Williams, Sabrina Morrisseyclosed on the sale of the TV host’s lavish penthouse on Friday, May 10. The outlet reported that Williams’ “incapacity” prompted the sale.
This reportedly requires Morrissey to lead “the decision-making process regarding the sale of her residence.”
Furthermore, the space is said to have been sold for $3.75 million. However, this price is said to be $822,000 lower than the previous purchase price.
The New York Post Office adding that before selling the penthouse, Williams allegedly “removed all personal belongings located on the property.” This is said to include the “iconic purple chair” she used while hosting ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ from 2008 to 2022, per IMDb.

According to the source, Williams’ lavish penthouse is more than 2,400 square feet and features a “spacious” open-style living room, dining area and kitchen.
Besides, Page Six reports that the space has three bedrooms and three bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. What’s more, the space even has access to a terrace overlooking the Hudson River.
Furthermore, the outlet adds that the building that houses Williams’ space features a “fitness center, 60-foot lap pool, sauna” and other amenities.

According to New York Post Office, this newspaper has contacted Williams’ representatives for comment on the matter. The outlet reports that Williams is currently being treated for “severe alcohol use” at a rehab facility in Malibu, California. Meanwhile, Page Six reports that the location of Williams’ treatment has not yet been publicly disclosed.
Wendy Williams’ ex-husband made headlines recently
Although fans have yet to hear back from Williams herself regarding the recent reported problems in her life, her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, is still speaking out. EQUAL Shade room previously reported, in April, Hunter went viral after sharing his reaction to ‘Where is Wendy Williams?’ documentary.
The four-part series was released in February and showcased Williams’ health struggles.
While speaking out, Hunter explained that there was “nothing good” about the series.
“So I don’t know what this performance is about – all the people involved, the celebrities. Half of them were involved in supporting her,” Hunter said.
Additionally, Hunter shared words for Blac Chyna, who appears briefly in the documentary.
“So, Blac Chyna, you need to sit down before I tell everyone what you’re doing. Actually did,” he said.
At this time, Blac Chyna has not publicly reacted to Hunter’s words to her.
